The Plantisserie
We asked Maria Laura Alemann, the owner of Plantisserie, to be one of our gurus because everyone told us her restaurant was the best vegetarian restaurant in town. What sets it apart is that she hires grandmothers to cook every meal. Every dish is made from scratch, “it is slow food that takes time to prepare.” She is part of the conscious eating movement that extends from the farms she supports to the local businesses she promotes. “Plantisserie is a statement of the relationship between oneself and the food we are intaking.” Plantisserie products are also available at Panther Coffee location, at Under the Mango Tree on the Beach, and at the Beehive Natural Foods in South Miami.
