She introduced us to the amazing iFresh Asian market on 167th street and shared her favorite restaurants and bars in El Portal and Miami Shores. 

Vickie Pierre has been part of Miami’s art scene since the 90s when she moved here after graduating from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She is a Haitian/American mixed media artist represented by renowned in galleries like Frederic Snitzer and Carl Hammer and her work has been showcased for years in museums across the country.
