Soya e Pomodoro
WE HAD A good meal in Downtown Miami at Soya e Pomodoro. As we walked in, we were introduced to Cristian, the chef and co-owner, who warmly welcomed us. It felt like we were in his home, decorated with vintage tables and chairs, personal knickknacks and photographs, and an eclectic book collection in the back where live Jazz plays every Thursday-Saturday night. We had eggplant parm to start followed by their famous fazzoletti de formaggio e pera – ricotta and pear filled pasta, washed down with a glass of Montepulciano. Their motto is ”simple food made with love” and that is how it felt. This is a good option for lunch if you are running errands downtown.
